Banca Comerciala Romana (BCR) offers its clients who are Romtelecom subscribers the opportunity of paying their bills to the phone company by using direct Debit, with zero fees.rnrnHolders of BCR current accounts in RON, both individuals and companies, can make regular payments without having to actually go to the bank anymore, by passing for payment the bank to transfer the money directly into their accounts. rnrnIn order for clients to have access to Debit Direct, they simply have to sign a Mandating Contract available in any BCR branch office.rnrnAmong the advantages of this system are: avoiding the risk of late payments to various providers, due to various reasons; saving time by making these regular payments; avoiding front desk queues for payment of utilities/services or monthly installments.rnrnA member of Erste group, BCR is a universal bank whose services have been designed to suit the needs of both retail and corporate clients. BCR is the most important banking institution in Romania, managing over 17.5 billion Euros worth assets. BCR is the most valuable financial brand in Romania. Neutral interest rate in Romania

The neutral nominal rate in Romania has been falling since the start of inflation targeting in 2005. The Taylor Rule clearly shows that interest rates peaked in 2022 and have been on a clear downward path ever since.Furthermore, the model estimates a long-term neutral nominal rate of around 3.9%, which is the equivalent of approx. 1.4% real.Using a more sophisticated model (i.e. New York FED’S HLW model), the real neutral interest rate in Romania is estimated currently at around 1.5% (1.7% 2023 average) and the historical mean at 1.2%.This implies a neutral nominal rate between 4.00% and 4.50%.
