OTP Bank: prize contest within the Business Kombat campaign

Between June 7th and September 5th, 2010, OTP Bank Romania runs a contest, part of Business Kombat, campaign dedicated to SMEs. All those who are interested, must access the campaign’s website – www.business-kombat.ro and sign in by filling the mandatory fields.rnrnThe contest follows the slogan of the campaign – a business is like a permanent war – and focuses on the team spirit, which plays the most important role in keeping a business successful. The competition contains 6 stages, equivalent to 6 grades, according to which the prizes will be distributed. rnThe final competition, named “OTP Bank Business Kombat Grand Battle”, consists in a laser tag contest between 16 teams of 4 players each. rnrnThe organizers offer three prize categories: rn• Weekly prizes: 5 USB memory sticks, 7 flashlights and 10 USB ports/ week;rn• Monthly prizes: 3 DELL MINI 10 notebooks, 5 FUJIFILM (HD) digital cameras and 10 PENTAX spyglasses/ month; rn• Cash prizes at the “Grand Battle” worth 8000€.rnrnBeside attractive prizes, the contest offers an entertaining and relaxing activity. Neutral interest rate in Romania

The neutral nominal rate in Romania has been falling since the start of inflation targeting in 2005. The Taylor Rule clearly shows that interest rates peaked in 2022 and have been on a clear downward path ever since.Furthermore, the model estimates a long-term neutral nominal rate of around 3.9%, which is the equivalent of approx. 1.4% real.Using a more sophisticated model (i.e. New York FED’S HLW model), the real neutral interest rate in Romania is estimated currently at around 1.5% (1.7% 2023 average) and the historical mean at 1.2%.This implies a neutral nominal rate between 4.00% and 4.50%.
