EximBank is the financial partner designated by Prolyte Products RO, part of the dutch Prolyte Group, which specializes in the fabrication of lightweight aluminum structures for public events, to support the building of its new facility in Piatra-Olt, Olt county, which will be officially opened today, said the bank in a statement.

The total investment for the new production facility amounts at 18 Million Lei and is financed under a co-financed European program with EximBank support. The build of the new facility, that totals 5000 sqm and will create almost 500 new jobs, has started last summer.

”The partnership between EximBank and Prolyte Group is a long one – we have started working together in 2012, but it is a very solid one standing upon our capacity to generate customized financial solutions and on the company’s ability to implement sustainable projects with positive impact both on its activity and horizontally, by creating new jobs. The financing of more than 16 Million Lei granted for the facility in Piatra- Olt is adding up to the areas of our collaboration form the business as usual operations, the development of the company and its export activity up to the absorption of European funds. We are convinced that this partnership confirms once again our strategic view in building a solid relationship with the business environment and proves that EximBank is flexible enough to adapt to the markets, like it did during last years, becoming a preferred business partner.”, said Traian Halalai, Executive President of EximBank.

This is the second facility opened by Prolyte Group in Romania after the one in Slatina, employing 150 persons and producing lightweight aluminum structures for public events. The Prolyte Group facility in Slatina is the one that delivered trussing and support structures for the Eurovision song contest in 2014 as well as for the Bucharest concerts of Andre Rieu and Robbie Williams.

The expansion of the manufacturing capacity in Romania is part of the Prolyte Group strategy to gradually translocate its production processes from the Netherlands to Romania.

”The expansion of our manufacturing capacity is a necessary step in our company’s development. Opening this new facility is the final and most important phase of our manufacturing translocation plan, that will allow consolidating our leadership on the global market and represents a solid ground for our continuous international expansion. It is critical to us to continue our investment plans, thus ensuring our clients that we have the most modern and efficient manufacturing facilities that deliver products to the highest standards. We are delighted that EximBank is the partner that supports this endeavor. ”, said Lambert Bouwmeester, Prolyte Group CEO.

EximBank is a specialized financial institution, actively involved in supporting and promoting the Romanian business environment. Its specific financial instruments are targeted exclusively to the corporate segment and accessible to any kind of company SMEs or big companies, active only locally or involved in international transactions. During the last three years, the bank has focused on the improvement of its complementary banking services and it developed and consolidated its portfolio of treasury products, cash management, trade finance and factoring, that are now completing the financing, guaranteeing and insurance activities.
