Today, 16th of August 2012, the local subsidiary of the French Crédit Agricole Group has registered its new name at the Trade Register: Credit Agricole Bank Romania S.A. said the bank in a statement.

The moment marks the ending of the rebranding process started in June 14th 2012, with the announcement the local subsidiary’ shares transfer to the mother Group Crédit Agricole. The National Bank of Romania has approved this operation on 29th of June and on 18th of July, the adoption of the new logo and the rebranding of all territorial units have been done. Today the bank changes its legal name into Credit Agricole Bank Romania S.A.

“It is an historic date for us, a moment for which we are aiming and preparing since 2009, through significant investments in technology, processes and know how, despite the challenging economic environment. We are proud to introduce Crédit Agricole brand in Romania, which stands up for high standards in customer service, security of investments and deposits”, declared Mr. Pierre Martin, CEO of Credit Agricole Bank Romania.
